About Voyage Elemental
The development of the Elemental Glassware collection has been a labour of love for Voyage over the past 2 years. The inspiration for their new range is the unique painting style of their own design studio. The unpredictable brushstrokes with differing hues and tones that change during the ink and water drying process has inspired Voyage to create their unique glass collection, expressing the same process of colour mixing and blending in molten glass. Each individual piece of this beautiful collection is hand blown by skilled artisans using the same methods practised for thousands of years. 

Coloured glass made from different minerals and metals are mixed during the shaping of the molten glass at a temperature above 1,800 degrees. The procecss of hand blowing is highly skilled as the glass is red hot and each piece is created and manipulated by different craftsmen, creating a truly unique piece of glasswork. With each item the size might be similar but the colour blending within will always be different. 

At this stage natural features including colour movement, small bubbles and surface textures create a truly individual piece of art. All of these inherent attributes emphasise the handmade provenance of the item - each one completely unique, a piece to be treasured.
